Place your guesses...

Because I need to have some fun while waiting for Josiah (or else I might go crazy), I've decided to make it a game. I've set it up so anyone can leave a comment, even if you could not before. Guess the birthday, weight and length of this little boy. We'll see who comes closest. Maybe I'll even come up with a prize; we'll just have to see.

To put everyone on equal ground, his "official" due date is October 5th, but at one point I was also told October 9th.

Guess away!

After doing much scientific research...going back to see how big Ali was...I'm choosing

October 8th (Wednesdays are fun)
9lbs 15 oz (odd numbers will drive Angie nuts)
21 inches

I can't wait for him to appear! Praying lots...

I'm tired of waiting for a godson! (But probably not as tired as you are of carrying him, Anna!) I'm going to be the optimist and say that he's coming TODAY (Oct. 6), and that he'll be 10 pounds even, and that your labor will be just shy of 2 hours :)

I put mine your chatterbox section, so it still counts!

I'd like to cast a vote for the 21st, but I know I'd be in big trouble for that one, so instead I'll say the 8th with him weighing in at 10 pounds 1 ounce and being 22.5 inches long.

So are we all wrong now that it's October 11th? Do we get to start again?

Anna, what are the rules to this contest? Are they similar to the contest on StuffChristiansLike? -where the final tiebreaker question asks for how many words are in an scl blog? Do we get a tiebreaker question to guess how many animal crackers are in the jar or in the house or in Ali?

Erin, good questions. We'll base the winner off the weight and length measurements. If you would like to add a time for whatever day he arrives, I'll let you do that too!

Oh Anna thank you for the clarifications. i would hate for the contest to be over just because Josiah is starting his life off a little late. :)
